52 CCT Colour Challenge

Hello! Here is my DT card for this week's challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

This cute snowman with his silvery nose is a 'From the Heart Stamps' digi. I have used lots of blue shades to colour him in with Copics. I do like his cheery little upturned face!

52 CCT Theme Challenge

Hello! This week's challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown is all about food! Christmas baking in all its yummy glory! I love this Christmas cake stamp from Woodware. I have coloured it with Copics and a gold Promarker. There is glittery 'frosting' on top, but I couldn't catch that in the gloom!

52 CCT Colour Challenge

Hello! Here is my DT card for the colour challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown where the colours I have chosen are blue, cream and gold. I found this lovely image at coloring-pages-kids.com. As soon as I saw it, I thought it would look great in shades of blue. I have coloured the image with Copic and metallic Promarkers and combined it with a piece of embossed, brushed gold card. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's Pretty Poinsettia.

It almost reminds me of a Russian icon. I think my love of watching 'War and Peace' over the last few weeks must have inspired me! :-) I do hope you will join us and have a look at the lovely cards created by the other members of the DT. Happy crafting, April x

Kitty Valentine

Hello! A quick and very cute kitty valentine card today. I was inspired by this CAS(E) This Sketch design:

 

The cute kit is a Clearly Besotted stamp - You're Purrfect. I created a watercolour background with Blushing Bride and Regal Rose inks and an aquablender on white shimmer card. Kitty is coloured with Copics and I added some Blushing Bride glimmer paper hearts for a bit of bling. Miaow!

 



 

I am also sending this kitty over to Parsnip and Di at Pixie's Snippets Playground and to the ladies at Cards in Envy - From the Heart.
