Workshop Photos

I had such a lovely time at last week's Flower Shop workshop - thank you to everyone who attended. Here are some photos of what we made. I love all the variations of cards that are created. It was a great evening.
I love the combination of Flower Shop stamps with Gingham Garden DSP. Very bright! Just what you want with the grey weather outside.
Here is Lou's gorgeous variation of the gift box, made with the Envelope Punch Board. So pretty!
Here is an action shot of the 'Black Magic' technique. Love the half eaten biscuit!
Here is a lovely example of the finished card made with this technique.
Here is one of those rare quiet moments when everyone is absorbed in creating...
And finally some cat shaming. The sign would read, 'I sat on the card that Ruth had spent ages on. It had Dazzling Details on it. I transferred the glitter to my bottom and smudged all the ink. Ruth had to return the next day to re-make the card. I love to help at workshops'.

Sketch Challenge

Here is my entry for the NAC#75. The central stamped image is from Peaceful Petals. I embossed the image with clear embossing powder and sponged Pool Party on top. The DSP is from the Fresh Prints stack and the cardstock used is Perfect Plum. I've added some silver glimmer paper on the butterflies. I hope you like it!

A Colour Challenge

Here is my card for the NAC#74 using a colour combination of Crisp Canteloupe, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. The Eiffel Tower stamp comes from the Follow My Heart set and the DSP is one of the papers from the Sweet Sorbet Sale-a-bration pack. I have also used a sentiment and two Bermuda Bay banners from the Good As Gold Simply Sent kit - another free item available with orders of £45. The card is finished off with a few rhinestones and some Crisp Canteloupe Ruffle Stretch Trim - I hope you like it!

Flower Shop Workshop

Join us for our next workshop on Wednesday, 5th February at 7pm. We will be using the Flower Shop set of stamps combined with a variety of techniques to make three cards and a gift box. This workshop costs £10 and includes materials, tea and biscuits.

There will be the opportunity for you to see examples of cards made from Sale-a-bration papers and stamps. For every order of £45, you can select a free, exclusive item from the new Sale-a-bration catalogue. The new Spring catalogue will also be available for you to peruse.

Please bring your own adhesive. You will need a strong glue and dimensionals. Please let me know when you book your place on the workshop if you would like to pre-order adhesive. Multi-purpose liquid glue is £3.25. Stampin' Dimensionals (300) also cost £3.25.

Undefined

Here is my own stamp that I carved using Stampin' Up's Undefined kit. The stamp itself isn't all that pretty, but I'm happy with the image it produces. I've used Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Baked Brown Sugar as the colours on this rather lovey-dovey card.
Here is a birthday card I recently made for a friend. It uses a stamp set and punch that will both be available during Sale-a-bration - Banner Blast and the co-ordinating Banner punch. Such a lovely stamp set - perfect for combining with the Owl Builder punch.

Happy New Year

I hope you have had a lovely Christmas. This card is a sneak preview of Petal Parade, a gorgeous stamp set that is on its way for Sale-a-bration - a very exciting time of the year when you can get free exclusive Stampin' Up products with orders of £45. There are also additional hostess benefits if you host a party during this time. Sale-a-bration runs from 28th January to 31st March and is my favourite time in the SU calendar.

My congratulations card combines Smoky Slate and Crushed Curry cardstock with Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper. I have used two stamps from Petal Parade (there are five in the set), along with the Pansy and Boho Blossoms punches.
Here are some tulips in a vintage enamel coffee pot that always reminds me of Pool Party. My upcoming class dates will be following shortly, so please watch this space!
